With OpenTable's goal to become a more experience-oriented brand and to further SEO growth via editorial content, we created the idea for Connected—an event series to bring together the restaurant and tech worlds, city by city. This initiative progressed into a publication under the same title, which chronicled the lives of NY chef Ayesha Nurdjaja and London chef Bruno Loubet, and their connections to the city and local community. As Executive Editor, I set the editorial strategy and edited the written content. To further the connection idea, we paired London-based photographer Emma Hardy with NY-based writer Ian Frisch for the NY story. And for the London story, NY-based photographer Daniel Shea joined London-based writer Tom Morris.
